Healing

Cedar Ridge supports its members and friends going through challenging times with healing ministries (Administration to the sick) and Comfort Covers. The covers are embroidered throws that have been prayed over, seeking God’s blessings for the specific individual receiving the blanket that it will be a comfort to them, reminding them to seek the Spirit’s guidance, accept the blessings God wishes to bestow, including the “peace that passes understanding.”

Helping

Yard Share

Cedar Ridge serves its immediate community by giving generously of our own abundance as well as providing a gathering place for local residents to share their own abundance with those in need. Yard Shares are like yard sales but where everything is freely given. Cedar Ridge members, friends and community residents bring their abundance and we host the free exchange.

Crumb Donors

Cedar Ridge supports Community of Christ’s most successful outreach ministry, located in the heart of urban Chattanooga. Crumb Donors is an easy way to contribute to Chattanooga ministries and stay connected with that life-changing mission. Meals on Wheels

For two decades and running, Cedar Ridge has prepared Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for elderly shut-ins. It has grown nearly every year. Since 2015, we have prepared more than 500 meals each holiday. We’re honored to support this service to the broader Nashville community.

Trunk or Treat / Cookies with Santa

Cedar Ridge welcomes its immediate community through events like these meant to bless children and young families. Games, sharing treats, stories and ourselves with one another make for great fun!

Priesthood

Cedar Ridge Priesthood are engaged in various helping ministries, those particular to the priesthood office held, and more general ministries all are called to engage in according to each ones’ response to God’s call.
